Located seven miles west of downtown Portland, Beaverton is the sixth largest city in Oregon and in 2017 was ranked as the 12th best place to live in the United States of America by Money magazine. Beaverton is in Washington County and has a population of 97, 514. It is part of the Tualatin Hills Park and Recreation District which boasts more than 90 parks, 60 miles of trails, and more than 1500 acres of natural area. Beaverton is home to the world headquarters of Nike and Columbia Sportswear.
The Beaverton School District is home to a number of option schools including the International School of Beaverton, Arts and Communications Magnet Academy, and Rachel Carson Environmental Middle School.

One of Portland’s more affluent suburbs, Lake Oswego is located 8 miles south of downtown Portland within Clackamas, Multnomah, and Washington counties. The town of Lake Oswego surrounds the 405 acre Oswego Lake.
Lake Oswego is known for its tight-knit community feel with a quaint downtown and a variety of local events. You can find movies in the park and summer concert series during the summer.
